Saturday morning January 2, 2016 while getting ready to perform at The Orange County Fair Marketplace all weekend I was heating something on the stove for about 15 minutes and immediately after shutting off and removing the pan I noticed a spill so without realizing it since not quite awake yet I grabbed a sponge with my right hand and then with my left grabbed the entire extremely hot black iron burner cover with my full hand and all fingers grasping the 8 prongs resulting in the nauseating sizzling sound and smell of my own burning flesh so as I reached for an ice pack in the freezer I heard this sigh of desperation escape "Oh Jesus how am I supposed to survive the next few days of work with a burned hand?" while envisioning a financially ruined weekend most likely including cancellation of all of my scheduled solo singing gigs since requiring repeated extreme work outs of lifting, transporting, setting up, tearing down heavy sound equipment multiple times which is already challenging enough but for the past year also including the impossibility of driving miracle mobile without two STRONG hands able to grasp and turn REALLY HARD since the power steering is completely broken (and the power brakes are also completely broken aka who needs a gym LoL)
So as I was about to place the ice pack on my hand on my way to DIY first aid kit burn treatment Rx here at Menagerie Castle ER LoL I was absolutely astounded to discover no redness or any discoloration of skin anywhere at all and no pain which since my entire hand still smelled like burned flesh my first thought was that the injury must have been severe enough to deaden the nerves but after repeatedly inspecting over the next few minutes and entire rest of the day I never noticed any lack of sensation whatsoever anywhere or any other symptom to indicate this incident ever happened
aka already my second MIRACULOUS EXPERIENCE of 2016.
